Welcome to
my corner of the internet.
Did you know that the world's deepest postbox is in Susami Bay in Japan. It's 10 metres underwater.
Or that light doesn't necessarily travel at the speed of light. The slowest we've ever recorded light moving at is 38 mph.
Apparently, the Dutch village of Giethoorn has no roads; its buildings are connected entirely by canals and footbridges.
Also there is a single mega-colony of ants that spans three continents, covering much of Europe, the west coast of the U.S., and the west coast of Japan. That's rather terrifying when you stop and think about it.
And let's not forget that everyone has a unique tongue print, just like fingerprints. Now that you know, you'll be forever self-conscious when eating ice cream too.
Why am I telling you all these things? Because the world is weird, isn't it? Beyond anything we could ever imagine or explain. But we also live in the middle of this ball of incredible wonders rocketing through space, so we have to choose how we want to spend our limited time together on this rock.
So why not make the best, most incredible story we possibly can? One worthy of living in a world where the largest snowflake ever recorded reportedly measured 15 inches across.
